Born To Be Light was founded on the belief that meaningful community change begins with individual responsibility. Our work has promoted nonviolence, self-accountability, kindness, community involvement, and the belief that each of us has the power to make a difference.

Today, our mission continues to grow. Through community awareness, youth and community initiatives, educational resources, positive and responsible storytelling, acts of kindness, and service, we seek to inform communities, inspire hope, encourage accountability and compassion, and shine light on both the challenges that need attention and the people working to make things better.

Our goal remains simple: plant seeds that help peace, hope, kindness, personal responsibility, and positive community change become a way of life.

For much of its history, Born To Be Light's work has been supported by its founder and individual donors who believe in the mission. As our work expands, your support helps us reach more people and communities.

Donations help support B2BL programs and community initiatives, including youth outreach, educational and awareness materials, community events, resources, and materials that encourage individuals to Be the Light in their homes and communities.

Every contribution matters. Change often starts small—but every act of light can make a difference.
